Wayfinder's genesis was born of the idea that Decentralized finance seemed to just be more and more centralized, in part because the technologies being written were always created to be so. We are attempting to solve at least part of this problem here with a truly decentralized protocol for the benefit of the entire ecosystem.

Wayfinder tracks a user's investments via a "portfolio" NFT. This opens up options for your staked investment to now be used as collateral.

A Waypoint is an on-chain API platform that enables crowd sourcing and creation of both automated and custodial investment strategies. Users of Wayfinder Finance can then mix, match, and combine these strategies into a portfolio that matches their needs.

There are 2 Main Types of Waypoints.

Type 1:

Simple

Pragmatic strategies premade by Wayfinder.

Automated

The strategy is automated by the logic of the Waypoint.

Bluechips

Choose from a selection of Blue Chip tokens such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana.

Leveraged Stable Coins

Stake your tokens, choose what percentage of your portfolio you want to leverage, and let Waypoint do the rest!

Actively Managed

Funds Traded by Waypoint Manager.

Let the manager use their knowledge and talents to increase your ROI.

Approved Tokens Only

Managers will only be able to interact with approved contracts by proxy through the Waypoint which controls the assets. Users know upfront what managers can or can't do.

Managers never have direct access to funds. They can only control the interactions with pre-approved token contracts. Fees and profits are automatically calculated and distributed for everyone.
